ISCI Foundation - Empowering Girls In STEM

ISCI Foundation is running a unique program for underprivileged girls with the aim to address the underrepresentation of women in different fields of Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) in the country.

On 23rd September 2021, volunteers of ISCI Foundation brought cheers to scores of needy girl students, who have the ability to shine in their chosen fields but are grappling with financial constraints. Through this lab, girls are provided the necessary education with the help of experimentation. These girls are provided with apparatus and chemicals to learn the concepts of STEM.

Among these girls could be some budding astronauts, physicists, chemists, engineers, and doctors, who, if given the right platform and assistance, can reach the pinnacle of success. There are close to 300 needy students in the city, who are driving fun out of science through a slew of experiments.

One of the students said, “In this STEM Lab, It was great when I could practically experience and demonstrate all that I had read in books.”
