On January 26, 2023, the volunteers of ISCI Foundation, along with the girls from Balika Grah, came together to celebrate Republic Day in a joyful and engaging manner. This event was a wonderful opportunity to foster a sense of community and patriotism among the girls.
Celebration Highlights
The day began with a flag hoisting ceremony, symbolizing our shared commitment to the values of our nation. Following this, a series of fun and interactive activities took place:
1. Quiz Competition : The volunteers organized a quiz that tested the girls’ knowledge about India’s history and the significance of Republic Day. This activity not only educated but also encouraged participation and enthusiasm.
2. Cultural Performances : The girls showcased their talents through lively dance performances and heartfelt poetry recitations. These acts added a festive spirit to the celebration and highlighted the creativity and talent within the group.
3. Refreshments : The event was made even more special with delicious refreshments provided by Mr. Ram Thakur from The Prabha International Hotel. His generous support contributed to the overall enjoyment of the day.
