DT. 09 JANUARY 2024.
As winter casts its frosty embrace over Gwalior, the ISCI Foundation stepped in to bring warmth, hope, and smiles to the children in the City Center slums under it's SUKOON (SUKOON: Support, Kindness, and Ongoing Outreach to the Needy) initiative. On this heartwarming day, founders Sweta and Mohit joined hands with passionate volunteers—Anjali, Shalini, Kashish, and Ayushi—to deliver not just winter clothes but also a sense of love and belonging.
A Day to Warm the Soul
The chilly air didn’t deter the spirits of our team as they distributed cozy sweaters and jeans to the children and their families. Special care was taken to ensure even the youngest in the community, including two newborns, received the warmth they needed. Each gift carried not just utility but also the promise of compassion and care from the ISCI family.
Moments That Melted Hearts
The sparkle in the children’s eyes and their wide, innocent smiles painted a picture of sheer joy and gratitude. For the team, these moments were the true reward—a reminder of why community service is so essential. “Every smile we saw today became a thread in the fabric of hope and compassion,” said a volunteer.
Knitting Hope for a Better Tomorrow
This initiative isn’t just about clothing; it’s about nurturing the idea that every individual deserves warmth—both physical and emotional. The ISCI Foundation aims to weave a future where love and humanity touch every corner of society.
Join the Movement
As the team left the slums, their hearts were fuller, and their resolve stronger. The ISCI Foundation invites everyone to be a part of this mission, contributing in ways big or small to spread warmth during the coldest months. Together, we can ensure that no child is left without the basics to survive—and thrive.
